Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Therapeutic Practitioner – Health & Wellbeing to join our Therapeutic Department and help embed our therapeutic model across our services.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about trauma-informed practice, relational care, and improving outcomes for children and adults through meaningful therapeutic support, coaching, and positive change.
About the Role
As a Therapeutic Practitioner – Health & Wellbeing, you will play a key role in bringing the Embrace Therapeutic Model to life within our homes.
Working closely with our Therapeutic Leads, Specialists, and frontline care teams, you will provide hands‑on support, coaching, and guidance to ensure therapeutic approaches are embedded consistently into everyday practice.
You will help develop confident, reflective teams who create nurturing environments where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and embed therapeutic approaches across children’s and adult services
* Complete PERMA and Quality of Life assessments
* Maintain a strong therapeutic presence within homes
* Support teams to translate therapeutic theory into everyday care practice
* Coach and mentor Therapeutic Champions and wider care teams
* Model best practice in relational and trauma-informed care
* Support therapeutic inductions for new colleagues
* Contribute to therapeutic reflections, audits, and quality improvement
* Identify themes, risks, and opportunities to improve practiceConduct regular visits across Ofsted and CQC regulated services
* Support the ongoing development of the Embrace Therapeutic Model
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people, and adults.
You will have:
Essential
* Experience working with children
* Experience within social care settings
* Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs
* Strong understanding of trauma-informed approaches
* Strong reflective practice and relationship-building skills
* Ability to coach, influence, and support others
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between services
Desirable
* Degree in Psychology, Social Care, or a related field
* Qualified mental health professional background
* Training in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
* Training in Learning Disabilities (LD)
* Existing Therapeutic Champion status (internal candidates)
