About you
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance professional
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, producing monthly management accounts, and accounting standards
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Proficiency in Sage, and payroll systems like Bright HR
* Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and organisational abilities
* Strong communication skills, capable of working with stakeholders at all levels
What you'll do
* Oversee the accounts team responsible for reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and commission recording
* Produce monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and KPI analysis
* Collaborate on budget planning, monthly forecasting, and profitability analysis
* Manage bank reconciliations for client and office accounts, ensuring segregation and accuracy
* Handle payroll processing, including staff expenses, PAYE, NI, pensions, and bonus calculations
* Ensure compliance with FCA regulations related to client money accounts and produce mandated reports
* Manage and optimise Sage and Open GI systems, supporting ad hoc financial reporting and projects
* Participate in strategic meetings and support due diligence processes for acquisitions and investor reporting
