Our client, a leading name in the data centre construction sector, is seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team in Dublin, Ireland. This permanent position is an excellent opportunity for a commercial professional to lead financial and budget management on a major data centre project.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead project procurement to successfully meet timelines, budgets, and goals
Ensure clear and consistent cost management practices are in place
Provide commercial reports for key stakeholders
Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing from pre-construction through project delivery to align teams on scope, budgets, and procurement plans
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners
Collaborate with project teams to actively assess and respond to risks and opportunities
Oversee the onboarding of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project capacity and budget expectations
Ensure subcontract and procurement documentation is comprehensive and protects company interests
Support timely, contract-aligned client billing and cash collection
Promote efficient, contractually compliant practices across the supply chain
Job Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying with significant related experience
Strong communication, numeracy, and problem-solving skills
Main Contractor experience essential
MEP and data centre experience highly beneficial
Experience of various procurement models (lump sum, remeasure, design-build, etc.)
