BUILDING MANAGER - COMMERCIAL LIVERPOOL Salary: upto £35,000 We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a prestigious multi-tenanted commercial property. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional building management services, aligning with client strategies and operational platforms to ensure the highest standards of service, safety, and performance. Key Responsibilities * Manage all aspects of the day-to-day running and maintenance of the building, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence. * Lead, supervise, and develop on-site staff and contractors to achieve and maintain outstanding standards. * Maintain strong occupier relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of tenants’ professional cultures, operational needs, and expectations. * Oversee hard and soft service contractors, ensuring full compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and best practices. * Manage service charge budgets, reporting and forecasting accurately in line with client requirements. * Deliver and monitor fit-out projects, retendering processes, and planned maintenance programmes. * Drive ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives in line with corporate sustainability goals. * Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, police, and community groups. * Lead recruitment, appraisals, and development of team members to foster a positive and high-performing culture. * Uphold a strong commitment to customer service excellence through proactive communication and problem-solving. About You * Proven experience managing multi-tenanted commercial buildings or similar environments. * Strong background in contractor management (hard and soft services). * Demonstrable experience with service charge budgeting, project delivery, and retendering. * Knowledge and practical experience in ESG initiatives and sustainability reporting. * Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. * A proactive approach to health & safety, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. * A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
