About the Role
Enable is an award‑winning social care charity looking for a personal assistant to support Logan, a young man with learning disabilities, around the clock. The role involves personal care, medication and meal support, maintaining routines, and engaging Logan in recreational activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care support for Logan 24/7, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
* Assist with medication administration and meal preparation.
* Maintain Logan’s daily routines, such as visits to the train station and watching favourite stories on YouTube.
* Support Logan’s communication and recreational activities, including iPad use.
* Ensure safety and wellbeing by following health and safeguarding procedures.
* Collaborate with the Enable team to plan and review Logan’s support needs.
Qualifications & Traits
* No prior care experience required – we recruit based on values and transferable skills.
