Our team of Personal Assistants (PAs) provide high-quality, person-centered support to disabled people throughout Halton, enabling them to live independently within their own homes and community. Personal Assistants will work in partnership with service users to support daily living tasks, promote independence, and always ensure dignity and respect. Personal Assistant roles are varied, challenging, and rewarding. Every day is different, but you will always be supporting your employer, a disabled person, to lead the life that they choose. All that is needed to succeed as a PA is reliability, willingness to learn and a positive attitude Key Responsibilities - *Please note that these responsibilities are not exhaustive and will vary per service user based on their individual needs.* • Supporting clients in accordance with their support plan which could include: -Daily living assistance and domestic duties and maintaining a safe home environment. -Shopping for the client or accompanying them to do their shopping -Taking clients to appointments -Assisting clients with social activities, companionship, and community engagement -Support with administrative tasks such as budgeting and paying bills. • Promote independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion at all times. • Adhere to safeguarding policies and report concerns appropriately. • Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
