About the Role: We are seeking a sales support professional to support our broker desk team in providing outstanding service to mortgage intermediaries and improving conversion of enquiries to applications. The successful candidate will expand the Company’s mortgage portfolio by securing new leads, converting previous enquiries and offering exceptional service and solutions to mortgage brokers.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct outbound calls to newly registered brokers to identify opportunities, explain the BuildLoan proposition and assist in submitting enquiries.
* Manage a pipeline of leads and maintain regular contact with brokers to nurture relationships.
* Convert opportunities into full enquiries and refer to broker desk consultants to convert into a full application.
* Contact brokers at key stages of each application to keep the broker informed, assist in successfully moving the application to the next stage and looking for other opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Previous financial services experience in a mortgage broking, sales, or business development environment.
* Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending policies, and the mortgage application process.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with brokers over the phone.
* Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
* Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and brokers simultaneously.
* A passion for providing exceptional service.
Pay range and compensation package: Basic salary £33,000 (OTE £40,000). Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. Pay: £33,000.00 per year.
