Vision for Education are recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist setting in Lancaster from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role. Pay is £450–£550 per week depending on experience. About the role Are you looking to support a specific child with SEND on a 1:1 basis? You will provide targeted support to a pupil with SEND including Autism Spectrum Condition, ADHD, sensory and/or speech and language needs, helping them access learning and engage in school life. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to tailor strategies to the pupil’s EHCP. Desirable to hold at least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. Positive and proactive approach in supporting students with SEND needs. Understanding of sensory strategies and adapting learning towards need.
