GSL Education are seeking a passionate Art Teacher to work with schools in Sheffield (S35), delivering engaging lessons that encourage creativity, imagination, and practical art techniques. As an Art Teacher, you will plan and deliver well-structured lessons that help students explore different artistic styles, media, and techniques, while fostering confidence, critical thinking, and a love of art in a supportive classroom environment. Main Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Art lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach a variety of techniques, styles, and media to develop students’ skills. Encourage creativity, experimentation, and personal expression. Maintain a positive and well-organised classroom environment. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as an Art Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
