About Our Client

Job Description

3. Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including processing invoices and reconciling accounts.
4. Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements for the Accounting & Finance department.
5. Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes effectively.
6. Provide administrative support to ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.
7. Assist in preparing VAT returns and other tax-related documentation.
8. Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies or queries in financial data.
9. Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems within the department.
10. Liaise with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and auditors, as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

11. A background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
12. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial tasks.
14. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
15. The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
16. An understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
17. Experience in the retail industry will be advantageous but not essential.
18. Hindi or Punjabi speaker desirable
