Rock Pools is the 3-year Creative People & Places programme for Hartlepool, funded by Arts Council England and wider cultural partners. Creative People and Places focuses on parts of the country where involvement in creativity and culture is significantly below the national average. Over the last 14 years, Creative People and Places has access to high-quality arts and culture in communities, opening up creativity to the widest possible audiences.
The Northern School of Art is the consortium lead Rock Pools and provides overarching leadership of the programme; the Rock Pools team is based and employed within the School. The Northern School of Art, is an independent School of further and higher education delivering vocational, innovative industry relevant programmes of study.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly organised Marketing Coordinator, confident in community co-creation, to help shape the story and impact of Rock Pools. Working closely with the Senior Delivery Manager, Project Producers and Consortium, you will play a key role in ensuring the project work is visible, accessible and meaningful to the local community. You will be responsible for co-designing a brand and marketing plan for ‘Rock Pools’ with Hartlepool’s communities, supported by the Senior Delivery Manager, and for its ongoing delivery.
You will work collaboratively with communities to use marketing and storytelling to engage people who are currently least engaged in arts and creativity, enabling lasting impact in Hartlepool. You will be confident designer, copy-writer and content creator, able to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, participants and stakeholders.
