About The Team
Our team provides civil and structural engineering expertise for multidisciplinary projects delivered by Amey Consulting. We have teams located in offices across the UK, collaborating closely to provide support and mentoring to enable junior team members to develop and gain key experience for delivering high‑quality results.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Civil Engineering Graduate, you will work across a variety of rail infrastructure projects nationwide, including Northern Power House Rail (NPR) – Sheffield Station and Leeds to Sheffield Route upgrades, Network Rail Eastern Route Partnerships, Northwest and Central Framework, Cardiff Cross Rail, and Core Valley Lines in Wales.
* Bridge/structure/infrastructure design and assessment.
* Developing innovative solutions for outline/feasibility designs of Stations and other rail infrastructure.
* Preparing technical drawings and working alongside our BIM team to develop 3 D models.
* Technical report writing to communicate designs to clients.
* Co‑working with engineers from other disciplines to determine clash detection and ensure safe, robust solutions.

Who We’re Looking For

Requirements
* Civil/Structural Engineering degree with Grade 2:1 or above.
* A full UK driving licence.
