Streamline Recruitment is searching for HGV1 (C+E) drivers to cover SHUNTING work on behalf of our customer based in Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex.
General details & requirements:
1. Shifts will start between 15:00-23:00 and will be 8-10 hours in duration.
2. Shifts will be Monday to Friday.
3. Drivers will be using a TUG vehicle, so previous TUG experience is beneficial but training can be provided if required.
4. Drivers will be shunting both trailers and boxes – again full training will be provided.
5. You must be 25 years of age or older for insurance purposes.
6. You will be required to pass an assessment.
7. We will need to provide our customer with a 5 year work history.
Candidates must have the following documents:
8. UK C+E licence – ideally with 1 year of practical experience but new drivers are also welcome to apply.
9. UK Digital tachograph card
10. UK CPC card
Payment information:
Please note this position is PAYE only:
11. Monday to Sunday, first 8 hours - £21.40
12. Overtime after 8 hours - £26.47
13. 6th Day - £31.53
14. Night Shift allowance - extra £11.76 per shift
15. Minimum 8 hours guaranteed
16. Breaks will not be deducted from any shunting shifts
17. Weekly payments every Friday
