As a Senior Finance Analyst in the Account to Report team within Finance Delivery, you'll help deliver accounting and reporting services to our Commercial Finance customers based in Osterley, Munich & Milan, whilst embracing our culture of continuous improvement to ensure processes are efficient and effective.
What you'll do:
1. Review quarterly disclosures for one of Sky Finance's reporting areas
2. Manage the accounting and reporting for a complex business area with demanding stakeholders
3. Maintain a strong, robust and well-designed control environment and critically review their operation
4. Be the first point of escalation for both internal and external audit and support complex audit issues
5. Initiate and drive continuous improvement projects such as report automation and standardisation
6. Ensure the team has achievable workloads and objectives, and review their workload regularly
7. Support FCs in delivering the department's strategic goals
8. Lead projects to meet Finance Delivery requirements
What you'll bring:
1. An experienced, qualified accountant (CA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
2. Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
3. General ledger experience
4. Proven track record in Continuous Improvements and leading change initiatives
5. SAP system knowledge (desirable)
6. People management or coaching capabilities
