Finance Assistant (Temporary)

We’re working with a friendly and well-established business looking for a Finance Assistant to support the finance team on a temporary basis until November. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid Sage 50 experience who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and the flexibility of hybrid working.
The role
You’ll be supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function, helping to keep everything running smoothly during a busy period. Typical duties will include:
* Processing purchase and sales invoices
* Managing supplier payments and bank reconciliations
* Maintaining accurate records on Sage 50
* Assisting with month-end tasks
* Handling finance queries and supporting the wider team as needed
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or similar role
* Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
* Good attention to detail and a methodical approach
* Comfortable working to deadlines
* A positive, team-focused attitude
