We are partnering with a long-standing manufacturing group to appoint an experienced Managing Director to lead one of its key divisions.
This is a genuine leadership opportunity for an experienced professional who can take full ownership of a successful division and drive the next phase of growth. The Managing Director will lead end-to-end performance, balancing strategic ambition with operational discipline and strong people leadership.
The opportunity
Full accountability for the business unit's results, spearheading commercial strategy, operational delivery and people leadership. The successful candidate will ensure the continued success of a widely recognised product range, whilst positioning the unit for future growth across key markets.
This opportunity will suit a commercially astute executive who thrives on autonomy, builds trusted relationships and has the confidence to influence at all levels of the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Own the business unit's performance, profitability and strategic direction
* Lead sales, marketing and commercial strategy to drive growth
* Ensure operational delivery, quality and compliance standards are met
* Build and develop a high-performing leadership team
* Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across the wider group
Qualifications / The person
* Proven senior leadership experience with full P&L accountability
* Strong commercial mindset with a track record of delivering growth and operational improvements
* Highly credible communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
* A pragmatic, hands-on leader who can motivate teams and drive change
* Comfortable operating in a manufacturing or industrial environment
