Prospero Teaching are looking for a compassionate, patient, and proactive Mentor to support a Year 5 pupil in the Farnborough area.
As a Mentor, you will:
This young person is currently on a partial timetable and requires tailored support to help them thrive. The Mentor will play a key role in:
Building self-esteem and confidence
Engaging in light learning activities
Fostering positive adult relationships
Providing emotional support and encouragement
Supporting emotional regulation and social skills
Encouraging participation in learning tasks
Liaising with school staff and other professionals as needed
About you:
Experienced in working with children with SEMH needs
Calm, nurturing, and resilient
Able to build trust and rapport with young people
Creative in engaging children in learning and play
Reliable and committed to consistent supportAbout you:
Have at least 1 year of experience working within UK schools
Are confident in planning and delivering creative, learner-centred sessions

Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
Trauma informed- desirableTo be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
