We have an exciting new vacancy for a Head housekeeper to join our team at Basingstoke Country Hotel. This woodland hotel features 121 rooms in an attractive landscaped courtyards and is located just 5 miles outside of Basingstoke town centre. It is easily accessible by bus, with a bus stop located right in front of the hotel, and it's situated just off the M3 for those who prefer to drive.

Your duties will include:
* Managing the Housekeeping department to ensure the cleanliness of all bedrooms and public areas
* Recruiting, managing and developing your team
* Assisting the team in cleaning if required to ensure rooms are ready for our next guests
* Forecasting according to expected business and preparing staff rotas accordingly
* Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain quality control.
* Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
* Working as part of the hotel management team
The successful candidate will have strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills as well as being an experienced hotel head housekeeper or a supervisor looking to take the next step in their career.
