As the Transformation Programme continues to prepare OSB Group for the future we are building our capabilities in house and looking for an experienced Product Owner in Core Banking to join the domains team. This is a brand new role, reporting into the Lead Domains Product Owner and will oversee a feature team (geographically spread across the UK and India), to focus and manage the integration between journey teams across Saving and Lending and core banking.
The role has the flexibility to be based from Wolverhampton or Chatham and will require regular travel to London.
What you will be doing:
As Product Owner Core Banking you will have a strong technical background and understanding in core banking to manage the integration, ongoing enhancements and developments of Mambu into the Organisation to deliver the agreed roadmap.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Define, prioritise and ensure clear communication of requirements to deliver product features using EPICS and user stories
* Leverage deep knowledge of core banking across systems Savings and Lending translating them into actionable product requirements
* Develop and articulate a comprehensive strategy that aligns with business goals, maximising efficiency, customer experience and remaining compliant to industry standards
* Lead the feature team to develop and execute the company's desired product technology outcomes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, design, customer service and 2nd Line of Defence to ensure successful delivery of products and features

* Strong track record working as Product Owner working with core banking systems and associated financial products
* Experience of core banking technology management and delivery, or a similar role from ideation to launch and ongoing management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making
* Strong project management skills within an Agile environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against tight deadlines
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation
