We have an exciting opportunity for a committed, driven and ambitious Sales Manager to join our journey to become the number one forging company in the world.

This individual will be at leading edge of driving our sales and commercial team to success as we look to significantly grow the company through next 3-5 years This growth is being supported by a robust CAPEX plan enhancing capabilities through optimisation and automation


Main duties of the role include:

* Achievement of set targets and KPI’s aligned to business strategy and objectives

* Manage the sales team allowing them to effectively generate business through the conversion of enquiries into order so achieving sales targets.

* Review the development of key accounts and customer partnerships to allow sales team to maintain focus on key customers

* Managing team to ensure that they are able to meet department objectives

* Maintaining a high level of customer service, customer liaison through online, telephone contact and customer visits when applicable

* Effective development and utilisation of CRM package/ERP System

* Organisation and completion of induction training, annual job chats, performance management, business skill matrix, return to work interviews, system administration

* Maintaining and reviewing the relevant sales quality procedures to ensure they met national and international customer specifications, meeting with internal and external auditors as required

* Maintaining departmental performance in line with Quality and Health and Safety procedures as required

* Liaison with other departments, e.g. production control and technical to maintain timely delivery to customer and decision on order priorities, if needed

Qualifications / Certifications

* Management and leadership capability ·

* Product knowledge of steels and other nickel based alloys and their capabilities

* Knowledge of the industry and its markets

* Good verbal and written communication skills ·

* Customer service awareness

* Good organisational and planning skills
