A welcoming and highly supportive specialist primary setting in Warminster is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. The provision supports pupils aged 6–11 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, creating a nurturing and structured environment where every child is encouraged to grow in confidence and achieve their potential.

The school is known for its strong pastoral approach, small class sizes, and collaborative staff team who work closely together to support pupils both academically and emotionally. Key Responsibilities

* Support pupils aged 6–11 with SEMH needs

* Provide 1:1 and small group support in the classroom

* Assist the teacher in delivering engaging and structured learning activities

* Help pupils develop emotional regulation, confidence, and social skills

* Contribute to a safe, calm, and supportive learning environment



The Ideal Candidate

* Patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs

* Experience in education, SEN, care, youth work, or support roles is desirable

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* A positive and proactive approach to supporting behaviour and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
