We're hiring an IT Service Desk Team Lead to manage and support a dynamic service desk team in Bristol. You'll lead day-to-day operations, ensure efficient issue resolution, and drive service improvements whilst also engaging in project work.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the service desk team, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues
* Act as the escalation point for technical problems and service requests
* Conduct team performance reviews, provide feedback, and support professional development
* Manage hardware setups, equipment monitoring, and IT stock
* Oversee service desk processes, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met
* Manage relationships with third-party vendors
* Contribute to process improvements and IT project work
* Maintain clear documentation of issues and resolutions
Key Skills
* Proven experience in 2nd and 3rd line IT support, providing technical resolutions in a Microsoft environment
* Experience in team leadership/management, including handling escalations and driving team performance
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (365, Windows, Active Directory, Azure, Intune)
* Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
* Proactive, can-do attitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
