Chet Valley Medical Practice in Loddon is looking for asalaried GP to join their supportive, friendly team, covering 4-6 sessions perweek.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of our multi-disciplinary team, you willhave the opportunity to support and care for our 9000 registered patients. Therole will include all general duties and responsibilities associated with a GPworking within primary care.

Chet Valley Medical Practice is based within the village ofLoddon in our spacious purpose-built premises.
We have a list size of 9000 patients and cover an areaincluding Loddon, Chedgrave and the surrounding villages including Norton SubCourse, Hoverston and Surlingham.
We are lookingfor someone with the same ambition as us to provide excellent patient care withina safe and sustainable working environment.
Chet Valley is a dispensing practice and have a full nursingteam who deal with the long-term condition management as well as two NursePractitioners, a proactive care coordinator and a paramedic who deals with mostof our home visits.
We respect the importance of a good work/life balance andworking late into the evening is not an expectation for our staff. We offer aminimum of 15 minutes for all appointments.
We have a full team of reception and administration staff,including clinical coders who successfully deal with much of the incoming mail.
The whole team meets each morning at 8.20am to discuss the working day. We recognise the importance ofgood communication and hold quarterly all staff meetings and team building eventsoutside of work.
Administration time is built into the working schedule ofour clinical team, including time within the morning session to actionpathology results.
We are a teaching & training practice and have recentlyundergone accreditation to become involved in research.
Job responsibilities
To work as an autonomous practitioner,responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population,delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMScontract.
Furthermore, the post holder willadhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to theeffective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining apositive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
