As a Deputy Maintenance Manager, you’ll help lead a team of engineers and operatives by your example. Together, you’ll pull out all the stops to keep our equipment, machinery, and workplaces in tip-top condition. From planning schedules to producing reports, your meticulous approach to health & safety, efficiency, and productivity means we can keep running a business as smoothly as our machines.

What you'll do
1. Manage and support a team of highly skilled operatives and engineers
2. Organise service schedules and reports for equipment in the RDC and stores
3. Carefully plan preventative maintenance schedules and oversee on-site contractors
4. Keep a close eye on costs whilst increasing productivity
5. Support the Maintenance Manager with management tasks and record keeping
6. Follow and encourage good working practices whilst being the health and safety guru
What you'll need
1. Experience handling and maintaining mechanical equipment, ideally Jungheinrich brand
2. City & Guilds 1 & 2 or relevant experience in a large maintenance organisation
3. Strong leadership skills to make decisions, inspire, and communicate at all levels
4. Outstanding organisation and confident multi-tasking to prioritise deadlines
5. An understanding of Legionella Control HSG 274
6. Motivation, flexibility, and plenty of initiative
