Job Description
As a Product Director in the Commercial & Investment Bank – Commodities Technology team, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. You leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that inspires cross-functional teams to create groundbreaking solutions addressing customer needs.
Job Responsibilities
* Oversee the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets.
* Leverage expert knowledge of technologies and solutions to drive an integrated receivables approach that marries the firm’s payment products.
* Create and manage business case ROI tools to quantify the value delivered through operational processes and working capital improvements.
* Segment the portfolio and analyze product usage and trends across the CB client base to identify opportunities and vulnerabilities.
* Coordinate and prioritize product input on CB investment processes via input from Clients, Product Solutions Specialists, Treasury Services Sales, and Bankers.
* Develop close relationships and alignment with Product Management counterparts in Corporate Investment Bank and Consumer and Community Banking.
* Lead the entire product lifecycle through planning, execution, and future development, managing risks, and achieving business targets such as cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth.
* Coach and mentor the product team on best practices, including solution generation, market research, storyboarding, prototyping, product adoption strategies, and delivery.
* Own product performance and be accountable for investments in enhancements to meet business objectives.
* Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for product differentiation.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
* Significant experience delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
* Extensive knowledge of the product development lifecycle, technical design, and data analytics.
* Proven ability to influence key product lifecycle activities including discovery, ideation, and strategic development.
* Experience managing organizational change and stakeholder engagement across functions.
* Ability to translate product vision into phased design requirements and execute go-to-market strategies.
* Leadership experience with cross-functional teams across multiple levels on multiple projects.
* Experience in sales enablement, supporting product launches and sales education.
* Skills in segmenting, tracking, and analyzing client product usage, profitability, risk profiles, and pipeline development.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
* Recognition as a thought leader in a related field.
* Background in technical software engineering or related areas.
* Additional experience with traditional treasury management payment products is preferred.
