No Agencies Please The Position : Site Manufacturing Manager (Northwich/Bread) Job Purpose: Lead the Operations and Engineering function at our Northwich site, serving as a key member of the leadership team. This role is instrumental in shaping and delivering a manufacturing plan that supports our vision while meeting the site’s safety, quality, people, and operational objectives. The position also plays a central part in fostering a positive, proactive working culture across the organisation What you will contribute: Exceptional commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality practices, leading by example. Leadership, Management and Motivation of the Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure the efficiency of the plants, keeping people safe, engaged and focused on the delivery of the strategy. Prioritisation and direction to deliver the desired performance KPI’s, maximise RFT bread and pack quality, minimise downtime and losses Manage budgetary requirements for Operations, identify opportunities for cost controls, actions to maximise yield, manage labour costs Responsible for ensuring legal compliance to our Safety Policy, GMP Regulatory standards and internal standards, delivery of all legislative and H&S requirements Lead cross functional loss deployment teams for machine breakdowns, minor stops, and speed restrictions to achieve loss reduction Manager and review team capability and ensure development, recruitment and succession plans are in place. Work closely with Technical, Supply Chain and Planning to ensure the technical agenda is achieved, plan optimisation, plan attainment and Customer service is achieved. Manage budgetary requirements for Operations, identify opportunities for cost controls, actions to maximise yield, manage labour costs What you will bring: Experience in running bread plants or other FMCG Industries. Qualified Engineer Proven track record of managing and leading large teams, achieving results, delivering on plans, and implementing sustainable strategies leading to improved organizational performance Proven proactive leader excellent teamworking and collaboration capability, focussing on the best for business outcomes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively and proactively with all other functions Manage and motivate a multi-disciplined team.
