Background
The Genesis Process team is a dynamic group involved in diverse assignments, from traditional upstream oil and gas developments to emerging energy transition technologies. Our work includes feasibility assessments, concept selection, and technical support for mature assets. We work closely with clients to understand their challenges, identify solutions, and support decision-making.
Key activities within the process team include:
* Process design for oil, gas, and energy transition projects;
* Process system modeling and optimization;
* Facility capacity rating, debottlenecking, and benchmarking;
* Client team support;
* Asset life extension and rationalization.
The successful candidate will support a wide range of clients on interesting projects related to the energy industry. You will collaborate with other discipline teams within Genesis and engage with clients both in the UK and internationally.

Role: Consultant / Senior Consultant Process Engineer
As a Consultant / Senior Consultant Process Engineer, you will:
* Prepare engineering deliverables independently;
* Lead scope of study areas;
* Provide guidance to junior team members;
* Prepare reports with minimal supervision;
* Lead client meetings relevant to your scope;
* Contribute to proposals.
We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
* Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent);
* Experience in early phase / advisory roles within the energy sector;
* Proficiency with specialist process engineering software;
* Enjoyment working both independently and in tightly knit teams;
* Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines;
* A desire to develop new skills and gain experience.
It would be beneficial if you also have:
* Digital skills and programming experience;
* Exposure to energy transition technologies.
We expect the successful candidate to hold:
* A Degree in Engineering, ideally Chemical Engineering.
