As a Bank Maintenance Assistant, your responsibilities will include ensuring the service's facilities are fit for purpose, gardening, and conducting regular audits to identify and repair faults, ensuring safety for service users, staff, and visitors.
You will work alongside an established team, handling various maintenance tasks, liaising with contractors to support the upkeep of the service.

As a Bank Maintenance Assistant, you will be:
* Assisting with maintaining the service, buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose.
* Using good DIY skills to maintain safety for service users.
* Assisting with regular checks and maintenance.
* Supporting the repair and maintenance of all buildings.
* Participating in decorating tasks.
* Liaising with a manager to report faults and defects.
* Participating in a one-week on-call rota for emergency maintenance.
* Supporting contractors on-site and completing all related paperwork and tool checks.
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Follow systems and procedures.
* Have previous experience in a maintenance role.
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Show courtesy and respect to residents to ensure high-quality service.
* Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings.
Where you will be working:
Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN. Located next to Gatwick, Farmfield Hospital cares for adult men aged 18+ who may have a forensic background and enduring mental health issues such as personality disorders, substance misuse, and challenging behaviors.
