Job Purpose:

The Safety, Quality & Compliance Monitoring Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the organisation's Safety Management System and Quality & Compliance Monitoring Systems (collectively "the management system"). This covers all aircraft maintenance activities in line with CAA and other national regulatory standards, as well as responsibility for the safety and compliance monitoring systems for the FBO operation in accordance with the IS-BAH standard.


Accountability:

Accountable for maintaining the management system in line with Inflite The Jet Centre Ltd's procedures and regulatory requirements.


Main Responsibilities & Duties

Quality Management:

- Hold regular meetings with the Accountable Manager to review the effectiveness of the quality system and escalate unresolved discrepancies.

- Lead and oversee all internal, external, customer, and third-party audits in accordance with regulatory standards.

- Manage all non-conformities, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions.

- Oversee the development and implementation of internal quality procedures, standards, and specifications.

- Drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

- Manage certification and authorisations for Part-145 certifying and support staff.

- Maintain records of competency assessments, training, and experience.

- Handle required regulatory notifications in accordance with MOE procedures.

- Manage quality assurance resources, objectives, and annual performance reviews.

- Implement a full quality audit programme and ensure timely closure of findings.

- Maintain and update MOE documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance.

- Submit MOE amendments and required forms to the competent authority.

- Assess suppliers and subcontractors for compliance and quality.

- Coordinate investigations relating to airworthiness occurrences and ensure appropriate follow-up.

- Feed back maintenance incident learnings into continuation training.

- Approve, on a temporary basis, base maintenance tasks carried out by line maintenance organisations.

- Notify authorities of maintenance carried out outside approved locations, where applicable.

- Define and embed human factors principles throughout the organisation.

- Monitor regulatory compliance and liaise with authorities, escalating as required.


Safety Management:

- Facilitate hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety risk management.

- Monitor progress against the safety action plan and risk mitigation measures.

- Oversee development and implementation of safety processes, procedures, and standards.

- Provide safety performance updates to the Safety Review Board.

- Ensure maintenance of all safety management documentation.

- Ensure safety training provision meets required standards.

- Provide guidance on safety matters.

- Lead and follow up on internal occurrence investigations.


Authorities:

- Must be acceptable to the CAA/EASA as a Form 4 postholder.

- Direct access to the Accountable Manager on quality matters.

- Authority to request departmental support and propose training or process improvements.

- Expected to support and promote a strong safety culture.


Required Skills & Experience:

- Strong knowledge of current airworthiness regulations (Part-145, IBAC/IS-BAH).

- Demonstrable leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Recognised auditor qualification.

- Strong organisational and analytical skills.

- Part-66 AML preferred but not essential.

- Familiarity with Quality, Safety, and Compliance Management software.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

- Able to work independently and collaboratively.

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking ability.

- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive data.

- Must successfully complete all mandatory training.


This is a full-time onsite position.

Sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate, though no relocation package is available.
