We are looking to recruit an experienced Female Home Care Assistant to support a Service User requiring 24 hour care and support.
Hours: Variable shifts required - 07:15 - 14:30, 13:30 - 20:45., 20:00 - 08:00. To make it fair for all staff, we all work alternative weekends.
Pay: £13 per hour
Section 7(2b) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 applies that there is a genuine occupational requirement for female staff for this position

The role:
* Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed clothes.
* Provide Companionship
* Accompany the Service User to medical appointments.
* Observe, monitor and record the Service Users' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff.
* Encourage and support the Service User to participate in social and recreational activities.
* Assist the Service User with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting, medication administration.
* Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of the Service User.
