Programme Execution Manager – AWS Global Government Delivery Organisation

Responsibilities
This position focuses on the delivery of AWS services to our UK Government customers. It requires effective cross‑functional collaboration across diverse teams to solve complex problems, identify requirements, design processes, and manage timelines for programmes and projects supporting UK Government customers.
Key responsibilities:
* Coordinate diverse teams, including sales, capture, business operations, legal, cybersecurity, solution architects, and software development, to achieve common goals.
* Communicate regularly with management on project status, business opportunities, and risks.
* Deliver results by coordinating programme and project delivery.
Qualifications
Required experience:
* Experience in program or project management.
* Experience working cross‑functionally with technical and non‑technical teams.
* Experience working with or for UK Central Government departments.
* Experience managing cross‑functional programmes and release schedules.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex technical information to executives and non‑technical leaders.
* Experience working in or with UK Government departments.
* Experience managing or supporting UK Government contracts and frameworks (e.g., G‑Cloud, CCS frameworks).
* Experience managing UK Government projects built using cloud technologies; knowledge of compliance with UK Government Cloud Security Principles.
* Understanding of UK Government procurement processes and frameworks.
