Welcome! Due to the expansion of Nottinghamshire Educational Psychology Service we are looking for a Senior Educational Psychologist to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is an additional post to the current structure.

Nottinghamshire EPS

* Offers a core service to Nottinghamshire schools, using a locality-based ‘Family of Schools’ model.
* Is a well established and forward thinking service with a strong reputation for reflective, values-driven practice.
* Uses a strength-based, collaborative and consultative service delivery model.
* Does not carry out psychometric assessments and has not done so for over 25 years.


Our Notts EPS Team

* Is a dynamic, fully staffed team with a range of experienced and newly qualified EPs, as well as Trainee and Assistant EPs.
* Has a shared commitment to early intervention, inclusion and relational ways of working that make a meaningful difference for children, young people, families and settings across Nottinghamshire.


Our Senior Leadership Team

* Together, drives the strategic direction of Notts EPS.
* Invests in people; valuing supervision, peer support, curiosity and psychological safety.
* Works collaboratively and visibly, modelling strength based practice and shared responsibility, while creating space for challenge, learning and innovation.
* Has effectively supported our growth as a resilient service with a clear sense of identity and purpose, even in a demanding and changing system.

What We Are Looking For

* A dynamic individual who is keen to join a collaborative leadership team.
* Someone who can offer leadership, support and guidance to our Educational Psychology Service.

* Strong application of psychology to support the inclusion of children in vulnerable situations including children presenting with SEND, children in care, previously in care and children with a social worker, children at risk of exclusion from education and children involved in the youth justice system.
