Job Description
* Managing the Supply Chain to ensure flow of materials and availability
* Manage delivery schedules to ensure consolidation as much as possible to reduce transport costs
* Ensure that all purchases adhere to company policies and budget constraints.
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolving any issues that may arise.
* Keeping accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
* Collaborating with other departments to forecast future supply needs.
* Participating in the development of procurement strategies and plans
The Successful Applicant
A successful Buyer should have:
* Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* A strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.
* Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office and procurement applications.
* The ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
