SELF-EMPLOYED BASIS A fantastic and rare opportunity has become available at Uruku Beauty. We are looking for a talented, reliable and enthusiastic Beauty Therapist with NVQ level 2 & 3 to join us on a self-employed basis. The ideal person will have at least 5 years experience who can carry out a high standard of work. Uruku Beauty has a dedicated and loyal client base and there will always be the opportunity to find new clients within the salon and take advantage of our central location with a great footfall. We are looking for someone with a well rounded skill set who can provide the types of services we already offer. In addition, if you are trained in any other treatments we would love to hear from you.
The hours will be flexible to suit your schedule, but must be taken on a Monday, Thursday, Saturday (alternating a Saturday to a Friday every third week) and must include at least 1 late night (8pm). 8-10 hours a day preferred but can be discussed. As this is a self-employed employed basis, holidays can be taken as frequently as desired.
Skills
* Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist * Excellent knowledge of beauty products and trends * Strong communication and customer service skills * Attention to detail and creativity * Be able to work well in a team environment. *This includes use of all salon equipment, products as well as heating and electricity. * Salary shown is the potential earnings for a part time therapist on a self-employed basis.
Responsibilities
* Provide a range of beauty treatments, including gel nails, pedicures, waxing, massage, facials, eyebrow and eyelash treatments.
* Consult with clients via telephone, social media, email and in person for the benefit of your own treatments and the salon as a whole.
* Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques to offer innovative services.
* Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
* Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow.
* Promote products and services that enhance the client experience.
* Withhold and maintain the excellent reputation of the salon.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist either in a salon, spa, mobile or home environment.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
* A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to provide exceptional service to clients.
