Join to apply for the Activities Co-ordinator role at HC-One. In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, Kindness will be at the core of everything you do, supporting Residents across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes.

Responsibilities
* Plan and implement activities that will delight Residents.
* Assist the Home Manager to organise essential fundraising events.
* Help Residents socialise more effectively and involve the care home team in activity ideas based on Residents’ hobbies.
* Deliver activities with a sense of kindness above all else.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support Residents’ wellbeing and engagement.
* Uphold safeguarding responsibilities: recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know how to respond. Attend safeguarding training and pursue additional training as appropriate.
Qualifications
* Background of working with vulnerable individuals and, ideally, developing activity programmes.
* Excellent planning, organisational and IT skills; able to manage time effectively.
* Strong communication, kindness and ability to get along with Residents and co-workers.
* Ability to recognise safeguarding concerns and seek appropriate advice or escalate if action is not taken.
* Full right to work in the UK. Sponsorship or visa support is not available.
