Overview
The AA Roadside Rescue Mechanic – Lincolnshire role at The AA is a field-based position focused on helping members back on the road. You’ll be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation, ready to assist customers anytime, anywhere and in any weather. The role includes training, support and opportunities for development as part of the AA team.
Responsibilities
* A communicator: diagnose and explain vehicle issues clearly to customers so they feel informed and safe about next steps.
* A self-starter: work independently as well as in a team, travelling to different locations in all weathers.
* A fixer/problem solver: use technical expertise to fix vehicles at the roadside or arrange recovery to a garage, enabling customers to continue their day.
What you’ll need
* NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
* Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less
* Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
