About AtkinsRéalis
We work collaboratively to solve technical challenges across the entire project lifecycle, from concept design to decommissioning. Our day-to-day activities include production of process engineering deliverables (process sizing calculations, heat & material balances, P&IDs, etc.), process modelling, and process safety activities (HAZID/HAZOP studies, DSEAR assessments, etc.). We collaborate across the AtkinsRéalis business to provide our technical expertise where it is needed, giving our clients the best engineering solutions. We strengthen the delivery of work through full-time embedded resources within client offices, site-based roles, and in-house engineering support from AtkinsRéalis offices. The focus is on providing high quality work to the client.
What you can bring

* Lead a small team of engineers, understand the commercial aspects of our work, and be confident in front of our clients.
* Qualified engineers (BEng/MEng in Chemical or Process Engineering), with IChemE chartership if possible.
* Experience in the nuclear industry is ideal; an understanding of nuclear basics is expected.
* Specific skills such as using chemical process simulation software packages to design, optimise, and troubleshoot chemical processes, or experience in a model-based systems approach (MBSA) project, are valued.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, and taking a key role within the department.

This role may require security clearance. Offers of employment are dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance.
