Senior Finance Assistant
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent ¦ Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Hybrid – 1–2 days per week in the Petersfield office
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to join FitzRoy’s Central Support Finance team. This role is predominantly Purchase Ledger focused, with some Credit Control cover required, making it ideal for a capable finance all‑rounder.
You’ll support the delivery of accurate financial records, work closely with colleagues across the organisation, and help improve finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Day‑to‑day Purchase Ledger support
2. Supplier, utility and invoice processing
3. Managing company credit card and Amazon purchasing programmes
4. Posting direct debits and completing ledger reconciliations
5. Running supplier payment batches
6. Providing Credit Control cover when required
7. Maintaining accurate records and filing
What We’re Looking For
8. AAT Level 2 qualified (or equivalent) – minimum requirement
9. Strong Purchase Ledger experience
10. Some Credit Control experience or willingness to provide cover
11. Organised, reliable and able to meet deadlines
12. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
