Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial planners/ Directors by preparing comprehensive reports and assisting in the financial planning process. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Duties
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support financial planning activities.
* Conduct thorough analysis of client financial situations and investment portfolios.
* Assist in the development of financial plans tailored to individual client needs.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance purposes.
* Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and provide updates on their financial plans.
* Utilise Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, for report writing and data management.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.
* Collaborate with financial planners to ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
* Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in financial services or a related field is highly desirable.
* Strong report writing skills with an emphasis on clarity and detail.
* Excellent analytical skills to assess complex financial data accurately.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with clients effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Experience in customer service roles is advantageous.
* Basic IT knowledge to troubleshoot common software issues is beneficial.
* Demonstrated time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently within a busy work environment.

* Level 4 Diploma in regulated financial planning with CII is desirable but not a prerequisite for the right candidate
Additional Information:
We are a small family run business based in Strathaven. Given the small size of the business, the position will require any candidate to attend the office Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. With time we would be open to hybrid working but this cannot be guaranteed.

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
