2nd Line IT Engineer
Location: London (Hybrid working)
Salary: Up to £36,000 + bonus

Our client, a leading organisation in their sector, is hiring a 2nd Line IT Engineer to provide high-quality technical support and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems across the business. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad technology stack while contributing to continuous improvement and service excellence.
What you’ll do:
Provide 2nd line support for hardware, software, and network issues
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents and service requests
Support Microsoft environments including Windows, O365, and Active Directory
Assist with system upgrades, deployments, and ongoing maintenance
Document solutions and contribute to knowledge base improvements
You’ll work closely with 1st line support, infrastructure teams, and key business stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a 2nd line IT support role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows, O365, Active Directory)
Experience with networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
