Role: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Coventry
Pay Rate: £13-14 per hour
About the role
We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a vibrant College in Coventry. This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners aged 16+ with a variety of additional needs, including learning difficulties and SEMH.
Responsibilities
* Provide academic and pastoral support to students both in the classroom and outside of it.
* Assist with lessons e.g. adapting materials and approaches to tailor to the needs of the student.
* Promote a supportive and inclusive environment for learners to thrive.
* Work closely with other college departments.
Qualifications / What we\'re looking for
* Experience supporting young adults with SEN in an education setting.
* A caring and patient nature.
* Good communication skills.
* A DBS on the Update Service or be willing to get one.
* Relevant qualifications are desirable.
