We are looking for a reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join our dedicated team working across our residential home in Highcliffe and our independent living model in Southbourne. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our residents safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night - offering reassurance and essential support whenever it’s needed most.
We are seeking someone with a solid background in health and social care and experience supporting people with autism.

The role:
In Adult Services, our mission is to empower the people we support to live as independently as possible and to watch them truly thrive. Every individual we work with has their own unique way of communicating, from using PECS boards and Sign-a-long to expressing themselves through familiar phrases. If you’ve never used Sign-a-long before, there’s no need to worry—full training and ongoing support are provided.
At the core of our approach is a commitment to fostering independence and creating an environment where people feel understood, encouraged, and valued. Our team is relaxed, empathetic, and dedicated to helping each person reach their personal goals at a pace that feels right for them.
Hours of work:
30 hours per week
Thursday, Friday and Saturday - 10pm – 8am
A Waking Night Support Workers job would include:
* Staying alert throughout the shift
* Administering any necessary medication
* Completing documentation at regular periods throughout shift
* Following the support plan in place for each person we support, to enable the person to feel comfortable and happy, adapting this as required based on change in behaviour
* Providing some elements of personal care from personal hygiene prompts, helping to bath and wash, medication
