Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and organised Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic team at a well-known Belfast Estate Agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on purchase ledger activities and will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process and reconcile a high volume of purchase invoices.
2. Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
3. Prepare and process payment runs.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier accounts.
5. Assist with month-end closing activities related to the purchase ledger.
6. Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger or finance role.
2. Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
