We are seeking an experienced Associate Director for Planning & Scheduling to join our busy and expanding infrastructure team, who are undertaking a range of Controls & Performance duties on several high-profile Infrastructure and Defence Projects/Programmes.
This role is predominantly based in the North with some regional travel required, and we welcome applicants based across Yorkshire, Northwest, Northeast, and Scotland.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work as part of our senior leadership team, driving innovation, collaboration, and learning from our experienced and award-winning Cost Control community and wider Controls and Performance Network.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing and delegating activities of the Planning and Scheduling team on complex projects or programmes.
2. Communicating with Senior Management / Stakeholders to deliver updates.
3. Briefing the team on the project scope to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood.
4. Developing and maintaining leadership relationships with interfacing disciplines.
5. Line management activities including career development and performance management.
6. Continuous improvement in Planning and Scheduling processes to create efficiency and benefits for clients.
7. Implementing, embedding, and rolling out identified changes to Planning and Scheduling processes.
8. Understanding the benefits and requirements of Planning and Scheduling within project teams.
9. Providing Subject Matter Expertise.
10. Conducting expert analysis to stakeholders and senior management for effective decision-making.
11. Training and coaching clients and team members on Planning and Scheduling practices.
12. Participating in T&T's recruitment activities to grow project controls capability.
13. Engaging with the national and regional Planning and Scheduling communities, including Community of Practice.

Experience in Planning and Scheduling on complex projects/programmes is essential. Experience interfacing with other Project Controls disciplines and leading Planning and Scheduling teams is also essential. Practical experience with multiple scheduling tools is required. Familiarity with NEC contracts is desirable. For Defence roles, candidates must be UK nationals with SC Clearance or eligible to obtain it.
