As a Senior Asset Manager for Solar Innovation, your main responsibility is to design and develop algorithms that add value to customers managing Solar PV assets and portfolios. This involves creating new logics and improving existing algorithms used to estimate asset lifespan and performance degradation.
Your daily tasks will include:
* Building relationships with customers to understand market needs
* Ensuring DNV’s Solar PV expertise informs algorithm development and software offerings
* Transforming designed algorithms into Python code
* Collaborating with GPM software teams to integrate algorithms into products
* Participating in feedback sessions to ensure scalability and broad implementation of Solar PV algorithms
* Innovating and enhancing GPM's offerings through analytics solutions, managing key accounts to deliver value to customers and partners
This role offers the opportunity to develop professional networks, collaborate with colleagues in energy systems and product teams, and engage with industry entities to exchange insights and promote standardization.
You will join the Domain Knowledge team within the Innovation department, focusing on creating digital tools for asset optimization, industry innovation, providing analytics for GPM solutions, and leveraging data analytics in energy systems.

Required qualifications include:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field
* 5+ years in the PV industry with expertise in asset management, performance analysis, O&M functions
* Experience processing SCADA or Solar PV data for insights
* Proficiency in English and strong communication skills
You should be an analytical thinker, adaptable, relationship-oriented, committed to safety and quality, with strong influencing skills and resilience, understanding that innovation involves short-term failures.
