The Energy Transition Group (ETG) is a leading advisory firm specializing in Energy, Power & Utilities, Renewables, and Climate Tech sectors. As an Associate, you will coordinate research and analysis within the ETG sector, including company valuations, financial modeling, marketing materials, and transaction documentation. Mergers and Acquisitions will be a central focus, involving both origination and execution of transactions.
To succeed as an Investment Banking Associate, you need:
* Strong M&A and financing skills
* Experience in complex financial modeling, valuation techniques, presentation preparation, due diligence, and financial analysis
* Deal origination experience, including client meetings, idea generation, presentation writing, and client follow-up
* Ability to mentor and manage junior bankers, ensuring quality and consistency
* A proven track record of executing transactions in the sector
* Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
* Fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous
