We help them with the big stuff, for the moments that matter. We are currently looking for a Lead Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis in Edinburgh. You will be solely responsible for the operational delivery of the full talent acquisition lifecycle across AAM in the UK & the Netherlands, whilst also delivering the hiring for Aegon’s ET requirement in the UK. You will be responsible for the full Talent Acquisition lifecycle, inclusive of external permanent and fixed term hiring, early careers (graduates and apprenticeships), internal mobility and the management oversight of the recruitment of day rate contractors through our preferred supplier. Key Responsibilities for the role include: Responsible for managing talent acquisition across AAM and ET in the UK and NL, covering specialist investment management roles, sales, distribution, risk, finance, legal operations, technology & entry careers hiring. Lead and contribute to talent acquisition projects as the function continues to evolve and continuously participate in activities to deliver the overall AAM and ET Talent Acquisition strategy such as assessment methods. Attracting & sourcing candidates through both active & passive channels Partner with hiring managers to identify hiring needs, assess talent requirements and advise on appropriate hiring strategy. Drive forward social mobility and inclusion and diversity agendas and build this into attraction strategies for hiring campaigns. Management of Day Rate Contractor processes & outsourced supplier, ensuring governance and legislation is met in the appropriate country units. Manage recruitment of international hires / secondments including relocation and liaising with immigration lawyers. Collect and analyse MI data to provide insight on recruitment practices and best practice. We’d love to hear from you if you have: Extensive experience in an in‑house or agency recruitment role, managing multiple vacancies across both the UK & international locations. Comfortable managing roles across all levels, from entry-level opportunities to highly specialised, complex hires. Strong experience with direct candidate attraction and proactive candidate sourcing techniques - across both passive and active talent. Experience managing international assignments, immigration and visas requirements. Experience in designing and facilitating selection and assessment methods, providing consultation on best practice Previous experience managing day rate contractor processes & engagement through a 3rd party provider Excellent communication skills and comfortable managing stakeholders at a range of levels. Strong knowledge of recruitment best practice, process, policy and awareness of appropriate employment legislation Previous experience working within an Asset Manager is highly advantageous.
