Were currently recruiting for a Transport Shift Supervisor on the Day Shift, working a 4 on 4 off pattern, based at our site in Leigh, as part of this busy transport operation on our IKEA contract.

What youll do on a typical day:
1. To supervise the day to day operations on site including people management, warehousing, traffic and admin operations.
2. To deputise for Shift Manager when required.
3. Overall responsibility for the management of customer stock from receipt to final last mile delivery for all customers. Working with IKEA (But not limited to this)
4. Working with the Shift Manager on operational costs, achieving budget whilst identifying and then delivering cost reduction within the site.
