Job Description
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
4. Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
5. Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end processes.
6. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial documentation.
7. Support the preparation of VAT returns and other tax-related documentation.
8. Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
9. Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.
10. Provide general support to the Accounting & Finance department as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
11. Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
13. Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
14. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.
15. Good organisational and time-management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
16. Experience in the professional services industry is advantageous.
