Overview
Permanent part-time 16 hours per week Band 6 Physiotherapist in Cowal Community Hospital. Based in MSK outpatients and will occasionally include ward and A&E in reach.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist theoretical and practical knowledge in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic outpatients by delivering direct patient care.
* Support the training and development of physiotherapy staff across the operational unit.
* Supervise students on clinical placement.
Qualifications and Experience
* BSc Physiotherapy or above qualification, with current HCPC registration.
* Minimum of 3 years post-registration with MSK experience, including evidence of a clear understanding of evidence-based MSK assessment, treatment and management advice for highly complex clinical presentations.
* Evidence of appropriate postgraduate MSK learning is desirable to support local orthopaedic pathways.
